I really like Sakura! She's not a character who provokes me to analyse her endlessly in the way some Danganronpa characters do; I feel that what you see with Sakura is generally what you get. But I appreciate her thoughtfulness, her determination, her quiet, stoic loyalty. Her friendship with Hina is deeply endearing.
I like Sakura's character design a lot, too. The girls in the Danganronpa series tend to have pretty similar body types and face shapes, with slight variations in their level of bustiness. It's cool to see a female character who diverges so dramatically from the mould, and who is still treated seriously as a character.
I'm curious about whether, if the first murder hadn't happened, Sakura would have gone through with her role as the traitor. Would she have killed someone to save her dojo? I think she might have, but I think she would probably have confessed straight away, rather than making everyone go through the trial.
